Join the design team of World of Tanks in Prague and get an extraordinary opportunity to be a part of a well-known gaming company. Under the guidance of experienced mentors, you will not only acquire theoretical knowledge on Business Analysis in IT but will be able to reinforce it through practical application, you will learn how games are developed and participate in creating features for a product with a multimillion audience.

IT Business Analyst plays a key role in the feature development process at Wargaming. This role is focused on understanding customer needs and proposing solutions to meet them, delivering necessary information to the development team for the subsequent implementation of the chosen solution.

What will you learn?

  • Gain insider knowledge of the feature development processes in game development.
  • Contribute to the development of features that will be used by millions of players.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and other functional teams and roles (Game Design, Development, QA, UX/UI, Live Ops, Maintenance) and other involved people to support overall feature delivery.

What will you do?

  • Interact with stakeholders to define project goals and vision.
  • Gather and analyze requirements to determine project scope.
  • Create and maintain approval of documentation.
  • Support development and QA teams by clarifying project requirements.
  • Evaluate developed features for effectiveness and gather feedback for improvement.

What are we looking for?

  • Willingness to learn new things and take constructive feedback
  • Ability to articulate material coherently and in a structured manner
  • Basic knowledge of business analysis tools: models, schemes and diagrams
  • Logical and system thinking
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Upper-intermediate English knowledge (speaking and writing)

Dmitry has served as a System Design Team Lead for 2 years and now he is design manager of the Prague studio. He is also proud to be one of the founders of the analyst.by community.

What internships do we offer?

Our internships include unique disciplines related to:

Game dev – 2D/3D Art, Tech Art, Gameplay Development, LiveOps, etc.

Classic software development – Quality Assurance, Front End Development, Back End Development, Analytics, Data Science, etc.

Business – Marketing, Social Media, etc.

Is it only for students?

No! We invite students, recent graduates, and reskilled specialists who have decided to change their career paths and have studied either through non-formal courses or on an individual basis.

Do we ask for experience?

Motivation, eagerness to learn, good English language skills, and enthusiasm for developing games.

How long do the courses last?

They usually last 6 months, with expectations of ones lasting 4 to 5 months.

How many internships can I apply for?

If you think that you can be a IT Business Analyst, 2D artist, and QA engineer all at once, sure, no limit there. But please, have reasoning prepared as to why you applied to each specific internship because you will only get hired for one of them.

Can I work remotely?

Occasionally within the agreement with a manager, yet live presence in the Prague office is appreciated. This is because we believe in chemistry and synergy shared onsite when people work side by side.

When should I expect a reply?

You should get some sort of reply in up to 1 week after submitting your application. If you did not, check first whether our email did not get lost in your spam. If still nothing, feel free to ping us!

Do I need to provide a cover letter?

We do not require it for this internship as we already have some motivational questions in the application form.

What to expect?
